Frankie's happy ever after

Frankie came to KS Angels rescue when his owner could not care for him anymore. Poor Frank was showing some incredibly tricky behaviours and his owner just didn't know where to turn. Frankie stayed at KS Angels HQ while we worked out a game plan for him.

Firstly, Frankie was snapped up by a foster home who already had a doberman. The meet and greet could not have gone better, and Frankie really showed off his best side. However, it didn't take long until his poor behaviour started to show and his foster home tried their absolute best, but just were not equipped to deal with him; so he was returned to HQ.

Both Frankie and the KS Angels team were incredibly lucky to find him a space with Doberman Rescue UK and Europe (DRUE) - probably the most experienced breed specific rescue. It was a very long drive to deliver him to their HQ, but it was so worth it. DRUE found Frankie an experienced foster placement straight away - and less than a week later, they had worked miracles with him. He had stopped all of the silly behaviours and was a calm and sweet natured boy, showing that really, all he needed was somebody with the right experience to manage him. With his transformation, his adoption quickly followed. We are so very happy for Frankie and wish him the best life.
