Angels Foster
If you're looking to foster a dog in the UK, consider KS Angels. We are a foster-based rescue, meaning all of our dogs live in homes, not kennels. We can't operate without our dedicated team of foster carers, who really are instrumental in saving lives .
We do have some requirements for potential foster families, such as having a secure garden with fencing of at least 6 feet. As most of our dogs come from unknown backgrounds, we also ask that there are no children under 10 in the home, and that each member of the household fully understands the need to give a dog it's space - especially in the early days when they are often stressed and confused. Each dog is different, so if you do decide to become a foster home, we will endeavor to match your home the needs of the individual dog. You also have our full support at all times.
Fostering is a commitment to care for the dog until they are adopted, and potential adopters may need to be contacted and met. We expect that each dog will need about a month in order to receive a clean bill of health, neutering and vaccinations, and to decompress before being ready for adoption. Keep in mind that adoption fees must be paid upfront if you decide to foster fail.

If you are not in a position to take a dog into your home, there are still lots of ways that you could help!
Designated drivers
We are always looking for drivers in any location that are willing to transport our dogs. If you hold a full UK driving licence and are willing to become a transporter for KS Angels, please do get in touch!
Home Checkers
Home checks are an imperative part of rescue. Each potential adopter needs to be met with in their own home so that we can get a feel for the environment and ensure that our dogs' needs can be met. This may include checking tenancy agreements, making sure that any outdoor areas are secure and also gives the potential adopter a chance to voice any questions and concerns that they may have. We can walk you through everything that you need to know, if this sounds like something you could do for us.

Social Media
Our group of volunteers all work full time, and time is a very limited resource. Are you social media savvy? Then we need you! We currently operate a Facebook group - but it would be great to extend our reach so that more potential adopters get to see our lovely dogs. Please reach out if you can help :)

Other donations
Somehow, dogs need a lot of stuff! We are always so grateful for doggie related donations. Anything from crates and beds to toys and treats goes down a treat with our dogs and relieves pressure on our funds, allowing us to help more dogs.
Angels Fundraising
The hardest part of rescue is fundraising. Each dog that comes into our care needs a vet assessment ASAP. They will also need flea and wormer and food. Most of them will also need vaccinating, microchipping and neutering. These costs really add up!
Could you run a raffle, an auction or another fundraiser for KS Angels? Are you able to host a bake sale or run a race?
We are always looking for fundraisers - whether as a one off event, or something more regular. Fundraising is vital in supporting our dogs and saving their lives.
